Groupon, just like other travel sites that offer discounts on such things as travel, dining, and activities, will not let you down when it comes to saving money. However, listen straight from the horse's mouth. They will tell you straight up to read the fine print. If you're booking a hotel or any destination via the Groupon Getaways, you MUST read the fine print. Depending on what's written, certain dates for booking are fixed and some vouchers may not be refundable.
If there's any miscommunication between you, Groupon, and the hotel/destination who will check you in, the best thing to do is contact the customer service as soon as possible. After it's not a good travel deal if you're not getting the beach vacation you want and not getting your money back either.
