Best places to shop in Guangzhou

Shopping in China (whether if it's in Hong Kong or mainland) is always a fascinating experience -- if not obnoxious or intimidating to a first time traveler. Chinese local markets are not pretty. Also, if you have never tried haggling, then now is your chance to give it a go. It's perfectly normal here. The problem is, how do you say it all in Chinese? In Guangzhou, both Mandarin and Cantonese are spoken, but to be on the safe side, use the official language (Mandarin, also Putonghua) and know your tones!
