Bicycle!
Or at least your most indispensable bicycle equipment. Minneapolis is
a city full of bicycle fanatics--so much that you see as many bikes
as there are cars around the university area.
Not
to worry though if you can't lug your bicycle in the trunk of your
car. Minneapolis offers plenty of bike rental shops, among them the
Calhoun Cycle and Penn or Erik's. If you don't like riding bikes at
all, the Twin Cities is still very much a navigable city, with
streets plowed well during the winter.
